I was using super sensitive tests from 9DPO and the first positive I got was 3 days prior to my period being due (11DPO), and it was super light, got darker each day from there.  So there is still a chance.

Your symptoms sound like Ovulation not pregnancy. It would still be too soon to show up on a test if you were pregnant.

The first day of my last cycle was around October 2nd – I missed my next period and tested negative around November 6?  and positive on November 9?

I think those are the dates – i always have to look at my phone calendar which i dont have today.

Yes. I had symptoms, tested and it was neg. waited 5 days, retested, and it came back positive (it was a RER digital- took 2 and both said “pregnant”).

I agree with @lovemygsp: , those sound like ovulation symptoms so it would still be too early to show up on a pregnancy test if you were pregnant.  However, even with correct timing the chances are only 20% of being pregnant, so you may not be either.  I’d wait til this weekend and test again if AF hasn’t shown.

I was having some symptoms and I tested with a first response test on the day AF was due and it came up negative.  Almost a week later and AF never came so I retested and it was positive.

I had symptoms and tested negative 20 times before I finally had a positive.  It happens.  Sometimes your body knows before the test does.

@Chelwilly:  I actually ended up MCing, but I know that isn’t the case for most women that have a negative then positive test. I didn’t want to put a damper on the thread! 🙂 GL!!
