@AnaA:  We will be because my FI will barely hold my hand in front of his family let alone kiss (which I am fine with we don’t kiss in front of my family either its just weird to us haha) so I know he will feel awkward If we don’t have an agreed upon way of kissing beforehand!

We didn’t specifically practice for the wedding, we thought we have practiced a lot over the 5 years we have been together that we should know how to do it. 😉 I only told my husband that we have to hold it for a little bit so that the photographer and guests can get “the shot”. I think it worked out perfect.

@AnaA:  No. We kiss all the time so it’s not something I’m worried about. If it was something new, like a first dance, then we would practice (we aren’t having a first dance though).

I saw a thread about this the other day and asked Mr. S to kiss me like he will when we get married.  He asked me if I meant at the wedding or after the wedding, hahaha.  So I told him at the wedding and he gave me the sweetest, make you have butterflies kiss.  Then I asked him to kiss me like he would after the wedding and he gave me a heat packed kiss and dipped me while he did it.  He’s smooth, that one.  I asked him to be silly, but he just made me melt 🙂

We’d been together 17.5 years when we got married. Somewhere along the line we’d got the hang of this kissing lark! Also, it should be a spontaneous, joyful, moment. Not something rehearsed as if one was on a film set!

The minister had us ‘practice’ at the rehearsal and our practice kiss was a bit awkward….I think because people were watching us. So we did practice the kiss that night! Day of, went fine! 🙂

We very rarely kiss in public, so we were both a little nervous about the first kiss.  Yes, we “rehearsed” it a little, but after doing our engagement photos we became a lot more comfortable about kissing in front of people.  On the actual day though we just grabbed each other and went for it!
