I want to make these wire card holders but does anyone know where to find the wire? I found a website that sells the wire but I want to actually see what I am buying in person… here’s the link: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/good-things/wire-card-holders it is called “radio” or “cloth covered” wire in the article. I would want the wire in black. Thanks for the help!

Check Jo-Ann’s. Though I think I’ve only seen floral wire there.

Maybe check out a place that sells electronics, like future shop? I know radio shack (umm… might be Canadian and might not even exist anymore) was where I used to go back in the day when I was with a guy who liked to play with electrical stuff.

apparently this is the place to order the wire: http://www.radiodaze.com/wire-cloth_covered.htm — note on their website the link about “martha stewart buyers”.

check out any place that sells wire. It looks like electrical-type wiring that you can find at Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
Since it’s radio wire (whatever the heck THAT is), you could also call an electrician and tell him what you want to use it for (I usually start with ‘I have a dumb question for you you’ and go from there stating what I’m doing and if they have any suggestions. Men LOVE that kind of thing… at least the ones around here do. if you’re a woman and say that to them, they’re more than THRILLED to help you… I use it to my advantage 😉 )
If you have a Radio Shack, ask them what it is and if they have any. It might help point you in the right direction at other places. You could also try hobby stores, especially the ones that have train sets.
good luck! they look really neat!!
