My wedding was a month ago, and I am still settling in. I have started using the tea kettle some of the pots and pans. New sheets, pillows and mattress pad, but that's it!

We have used a lot of stuff but not everything. Some stuff will just have to wait for when we live in a bigger place, which will be in a year (hopefully).

oh heck no! lol We got more money and gift cards than we did actual gifts, but there were a few items we were given that are things most households have, but only use once in a while. We're coming up on the one year mark, but we've been too busy this past year to have used everything already - especially the serverware for entertaining.

I said "all" because litterally the only thing we haven't used yet are some cheese plates that I know we WILL use. We regularly bring out the china! We've been married about 9 months and have used our china about five times.
But don't worry if you can't use everything now. My brother and SIL were in a similar situation. Immediately after getting married, they moved across the country and into a small apt. At least half of their gifts sat in her parent's closet for six years until they moved back and into a house. But they use everything now and love it!
I've used all my gifts. Most were kitchen stuff, and we live in a teeny apartment, BUT, I love to cook. I even moved stuff to make room for my new mixer and my new dishes. I love all my stuff.
We're moving to a house so we can have more room, LOL.
Mine have all seen the light of day...but the only thing we haven't used is the monogrammed table runner. I forgot we had it. :)

I'm just curious how many other married Bees are in the same boat as me...
Our apartment is pretty small with limited storage, so lots of our wedding gifts (all the china, some bakeware, vases, decorative items, etc) are still in their original boxes crammed in our basement. We've been married since Sept 08.
I'd love to be able to display and use all the lovely gifts, but we don't have the space! We're thinking of moving, but really love the price and location of our current place.
