This has happened to me in the past but not in the last week.
I've been encountering a new issue though. I'll type up a nice response and click submit but then I get the "Slow Down .... You need to actually submit some content" error. Even though I had a whole response full of content in the box. I can't seem to identify any pattern to when it occurs and everying I typed out is completely lost and I just have to type it again.
@Mrs.KMM: Are you using IE9? We're hearing a lot about users unable to post in IE9, which is not currently one of our supported browsers. The recommended fix is to use another browser, like Firefox 3 or 4, Chrome 12 or IE 8 or 7.
@daydreamwanderer: I tried to make a post from my laptop and only the title showed up none of the body or pics.
I haven't had anymore posts eatened but have still had some pm eaten... last one was on the 11th. ate all but 4 lines of the message.
@daydreamwanderer: Nope. I'm using IE 7.
IE 7 is pretty much the only browser I've used for the whole year and a half I've been on WB but I've only started having this problem in the last few weeks.
@daydreamwanderer: My first couple of posts last week were eaten but I haven't had anything since then. This week all my posts appeared.

i was lucky enough that as soon as i started my recaps, the eating seemed to have stopped for me.
Mine have been eaten or I will post something and the page will refresh when I hit submit rather than actually posting what I have written. This happened both in IE and Fire Fox. I believe it was on Tuesday it did it about 10 times, 5 times each browser, before it finally would let me post.
If you get the "enter content" message or another page, (it has something like /bbpost in the address bar) hit the "back" button your browser and your post, the entire thing you wrote, will be on the page. Hit "submit" again and it SHOULD post.
Sometimes... it'll post multiple times, so I check my profile before hitting "submit" more than once... if it says the last reply was me in x-seconds, I'll just refresh the page. :)
It's a word-around, I know, but I figured it was just me....
@Zinzerena: I've tried doing that every time I get the "Slow down .... you have to submit content message" but every time I hit the back button, my entire typed message is gone.
I've started copying long responses before I hit submit so that, in case it errors, I can just paste it back in the comments box and try again.
@Mrs.KMM: hmmmm... weird. of course, I also use google chrome and IE, so maybe that's the secret?
@Mrs.KMM: I've had that happen lately too, I use IE, Safari and firefox depending on what computer I am at. Though I am usually able to just hit the back button, and all my text I typed is still there so I can copy it and refresh the page, kinda like Ryna said.
I had a situation yesterday where I typed a response, saw the response on my computer after I submitted, saw the thread at the top of the Boards listing and a couple of hours later, signed on froma diff. computer and my response was no where to be found. I highly doubt it was flagged as SPAM as that has happened before but only when a link was included. This was in response to a thread on cover letter/resume writing for a career change. Not sure what could have happened.
Also, I sometimes get that slow down screen when posting as well and I use either Google Crome or IE 7/8 (not sure which but not 9 for sure).
@daydreamwanderer: I did see @SomethingFishy:s post, I clicked on it and it reloaded the main board page. I don't know if it helps or not.

Our tech team thinks they have figured out and fixed the problem with posts getting cut off - but we want to confirm with the community.
*Please note: this is NOT the same as posts being caught in the spam filter, a.k.a. being held for moderation*
"Eaten" here means that the latter part of your post, usually following a paragraph break, uploaded photo or sometimes a pasted link, disappears when you submit the post, so that only the first part of what you wrote is displayed.
If this HAS happened to you, please let us know more details in the comments below, like when it happened, whether it was after a photo upload, etc.
