Wedding is July 10. Meant to get them mailed by THIS coming weekend. Hit a menu-related snag. Worst case scenario is they’ll be out by the END OF MAY.
Is that too late? Should I panic? Anyone else send theirs a month before the wedding, instead of 2-3 months before?

I think 2 mos before is standard – more than that and people might forget about it. If you don’t get them out till the end of May you might have less people able to make it – but if you sent save the dates then most people probably already marked it on their calendars if they want to come.

I think you’re fine since if you get them out by the end of May, you’ll be sending this out 5 weeks in advance. While 6-8 weeks is standard, I wouldn’t stress it…Also, like the poster above me mentioned, if you sent Save The Dates then you really don’t have to worry…But even if you didn’t, it’s totally cool…Good luck!

I sent mine 6 weeks prior. We had sent out STD’s and are in regular contact with our guests. I don’t think there was anyone that was surprised to get it that late.
We only gave them 3 weeks to respond (so hopefully they don’t get lost in the mail etc).

Do you have a lot of people flying in or traveling long distances? You can send them a nice note via email with a official invite to follow.

You’re fine, 6-10 weeks out is rather standard.

Do it soon. Give yourself a day to work on finding addresses, and a day to stuff envelopes and get them addressed and posted. Buy your stamps today if you don’t have them. Best wishes for a beautiful wedding.

Get them out ASAP. We are date twins and we mailed ours yesterday.
If you are having menu issues that would delay the mailing of your invites, I’m assuming you are having guests select their entrees. If so, you want them to go out ASAP so you can get your guests RSVPs back a few weeks early.
