I think it looks more like an a-line in that picture.  Were you planning to wear a large crinoline or hoop under it and change the shape?

From the way it looks in that picture, it has a pretty flow and movement in the satin that I think could work at a beach wedding.

I love the dress, first of all. Second, I think it could definitely work for a beach wedding. It’s not a huge ballgown, it’s actually a rather slim A-line. The detailing on the bottom also makes me think of shells, which is random but makes me feel like it would look great on a beach!

I LOVE your dress, the only thing I would worry about it being really hot. That is more of a personal issue that I had with satin dresses. Although I love the look and had my heart set on one, I was dying just trying them on. If that isn’t a concern of yours then I think it will be perfect.

Hello!  I ordered the Maggie Sottero Christina in Alabaster for my beach wedding… boys will also be wearing tan suits… and I think it works just fine… I had the same worries and presented my issue to the hive, I got countless comments reminding me that this is my wedding… my one big day…. and I get to be the belle of the ball…. even at the beach!  I think the alabaster color tones down the fanciness of the dress and the warmth of the color blends perfectly with tan and natural colors… so…. ROCK IT GIRL!  You will be beautiful!

I think a satin dress in the sand is ideal, it would sparkle and you will look godess like coming down. Just bustle it after and enjoy the night. Your dress is beautiful! I would keep it!
