Should have trusted my gut and NOT ordered from Invitatios by Davids Bridal in the first place so this is all my fault. I knew after all my other dealings with them that this wold probably not end well.
I ordered my invitations less than two weeks ago, they were quick to come out of production and quick to ship which was a plus. I couldnt wait to get home and see them after work yesterday, was so excited to see them! At first I loved them but I really didnt look at them. Today when I actually had time to take it all out of the box I realized they were printed in two different ink colors!!

I ordered Invitations, Reception cards, RSVP cards, and Accommodation cards….all ordered in the Golden ink, which costs an additional $9.50 PER CARD, its not much but its still extra, so I would assume that my cards would be printed in the color choice that I selected and paid extra for. Only one of the cards was printed in the golden ink, the Reception cards, all the rest were printed in this chocolate brown color. The chocolate brown color isnt bad, and I probably wouldnt have even noticted or complained if they were all the same color but having one card in one color and three cards in another is not exactly a feel good moment.

They need to either reprint the brown ones with gold, or reprint the gold one brown and refund me for the gold ink, but something needs to happen fast because I have to send everything out the first week in august and I need time to put everytihng together and address it all. I don’t even know why im so mad about this, I wont be any less in love or any less married because my invitations don’t match. I just expect basic printing qality to be done. In all honesty I ordered my save the dates from exclusively wedding for like $55 including shipping….and those were packaged so beautifully, everything was wrapped up and tucked into this nice white box with their logo on it and the protective paper. Davids bridal was all shoved into a brown cardboard box all willy nilly. Brides appreciate packaging for some odd reason, at least this bride does! I got better quality in my $55 save the dates than I got on my davids bridal invitations. I should have trusted my gut and ordered from the bargain bin printer Exclusively Weddings because at least Exclusively Weddings takes pride in their work, customer service is amazing, and the products for the price are pretty much unbeatable. I sound like a commercial here, but seriously gotta give credit where credit is due. I might just even order the invitations to match my save the dates and just toss the davids bridal ones. Beyone ticked off the DB right now.
