A family friend will be officiating our wedding. We plan on making him a really nice gift basket with some goodies in it and also either giving him a gift certificate to a really nice restaurant or giving him a personal check.

Our officiant, one of Mr. Lk’s good friends, loves cigars so we bought him a small humidor and stocked it with a variety of good cigars as our way of saying thank you.

My brother was our officiant. I got him a small gift to say thank you (really kick ass cuff links, as he wears suits daily). He kept saying how much of honor it was that we wanted him so involved and thanked us. If it’s a good friend, asking is really gift in itself, I think. But something small and personal is appropriate as a thank you.

My brother is also our officiant and we are gifting him just like he is another member of the bridal party, with something personal that he will like!
