@BeeinBoston:  It’s totally normal! I was the same when I was waiting. I was actually at the point where I wouldn’t even feel genuine happiness when I heard friends had got engaged. I felt like a crazy person! Just hold on – this too shall pass!

You will be okay. Just remember that engaged or not he is still yours and you love him. It takes men longer to be ready so keep up the good work of being patient. You will be engaged before you know it!

@BeeinBoston:  My SO brought me to look at rings last January. So I know how you feel. He was just buying time. He ended up purchasing something late last month… so only about 9 months. haha. Still hasn’t proposed yet though. Some guys just need time. Sorry you’re so frustrated. It’ll get better. Just remember how much you love him and don’t worry about the wedding too much. At least you went to look at rings at all. Some Bees here would die for that.

Even if he bought the ring the next weekend, it can still take WEEKS for e-rings to come in!

So don’t worry–it’s coming!

it’s normal. i feel like posting my waiting vent about twice a wekk so I know how it can get. Hopefully the time passes soon. I have been trying to concentrate on other aspects of my life to help me feel less unsettled. It’s like they don’t understand time. very annoying. Hope the rest of your day goes better!

@BeeinBoston:  Thanks! He doesn’t actually get the ring till tomorrow, so I’ll be on edge after that. Lol. Sorry about your FMIL, but I think it’s important to make sure you’re getting married for the right reasons. And while it’d be nice to have her there, it’ll be better when he’s truely ready to say “I do.” She’s not going anywhere any faster because you’re not engaged yet. You still have her and can still enjoy time with her. You guys should create a hidden pintrest board to design your future wedding together 😛

Aww, I’m so sorry! Does your SO know you feel this way? I feel bad when I come on here to rant, too, because I feel like my worst moments get aired out on the bee and aren’t a great indication of who I am and how I usually feel about waiting and getting engaged… but then again, that’s what the waiting board is for, right? I would talk to him if this is really bothering you; it seems like getting the ball rolling so his mother can be involved is a good reason to move forward! If you know it’s just a matter of time and there is no moving more quickly, then I certainly sympathize with you and hope that the rest of your wait goes smoothly!

I totally created a hidden pinterest board but only hidden in that it does not have my real name on it.

@BeeinBoston:  I totally get the pressure for kids. I don’t know if I can have another and I am like do you not realize how old I am?!?!?! Sigh, Oh well. This waiting board has been a blessing though and helped calm me all the way down. I can tell I was beginning to bore my friends.
