There are no rules as to who should be the readers... It's really up to you and your FI.
We chose to have FI's youngest sister (she's 13) to do all the readings for the wedding (except for the gospel of course!). We wanted her to have a significant rolde in the wedding as she is too young to be a bridesmaid and too old to be a flower girl :)
You priest will be able to give you more help as it depends on the church, but it's whomever is important to you.
We're going to have my dad and then probably FI's aunt.

Who usually reads at the nuptial mass? Are there are etiquette rules out there?
