I did online invites and RSVPs, but I am having a hard time nailing down an exact number for my wedding.
It is all feeling so unorganized despite my best efforts. I have it sort of narrowed down to 80-130 people, but thats a pretty big leap in my eyes. We are doing a barbeque reception, I don’t want to have too little food!!
Also, how many tables do I set up? I am thinking about setting up chairs and tables for 100 and setting chairs out besides, am I the only one who can’t seem to figure out a solid number of guests for their wedding?
Guess that’s a semi rant, my first and we are 6 weeks out, I have a feeling they are gonna come more frequently from here out.

When is your RSVP date?? sounds like you need to set up a spread sheet or enter guest information into a planner online (ex: the knot, weddingwire) that way you can have a solid number of how many have said yes, no, and not yet responded. Here’s a screen shot of what I have

Set up a spread sheet on google docs. Seriously, it will save your life. Enter everyone’s name (or group families together), a column for # invited, # RSVPed, # ceremony chairs needed for each group
And then have the columns add up. You just put the info in the spreadsheet and it pops out the magic number haha

Yeah, I would definitely recommend using theknot.com or something like that, it counts super easy. As I get RSVPs I just enter it in that and it counts everything up for me.
