I know I have already posted something today directly related to this topic but I am seriously feeling crazy about my alterations appt tomorrow.
I bought the White by Vera VW351011 and really loved it for a long time. I think I bought it in April or May. But for some reason, yesterday, I suddenly think I stopped loving it. Why?! I’m so, so frustrated. I thought I was almost done with all of this stressful planning.
I was looking for shoes to wear with my dress and stumbled across this at Jcrew.com:
I don’t know why but now I really want to try this dress on and I keep feeling like my Vera dress is too formal and not special.
I hate that I feel this way. If any of you can help or offer advice, please do! Thanks!

I am sorry you are feeling this way. I know…it sucks. My only suggestion is for now, go to the alterations tomorrow and put on the dress and see how you feel. If you hate it then maybe you should go try on this other dress

Also, has anyone out there ever been able to return a dress for a refund to David’s Bridal?

Not sure if things have changed, but my sister got a DB a few years back and they only offered exchanges, no refunds.
I also think that dress is super gorgeous, but I tried it on (they had the same dress available when I was doing my planning, just without the lace around the bust) and felt like it was wayyyy too busty. I felt really exposed.
You already have your dress; forget about this one and go to your alterations appt. tomorrow. 🙂 I bet you’ll fall in love with your dress all over again!

@brideatbeach: Thank you so much! I really appreciate your input. I seriously feel like I have no one to talk to here about my ‘dress feelings’ because they all already think I’m a crazy bridezilla (which I think is far from the truth). Anyway, I was thinking I would feel too busty in this dress too (I’m a 34D)… so your description of how it fits a real person, with a real rack makes a lot of sense to me! Thanks again!

And I’m only a B cup, so I bet you would really feel that way!
I had “dress regret” and kept looking for a while, only to go back to my original dress. Quit looking or you’ll always find something you want to try on and maybe replace your gown with. 🙂 Have fun tomorrow!
