@Nic01:  nope, but I like the idea & your plan sounds pretty awesome! I’d never have the vacation time though to do all that =( unless the trips were only like 2-3 days each…

That sounds like a spectacular plan! You could always just give up TTC and adopt me and my husband! But seriously, I think it’s smart to have something to look forward to either way!

@Nic01:  If I don’t get pregnant by March, we’re going to hold off trying until after our big trip in June, and I’ll start training for a Tough Mudder for July. That’s all the further ahead I’ve looked! 🙂 Your plans sound great!

@Nic01:  Sounds like a fun plan! I would need a lot more vacation time to be able to do that!

Travel was my back up plan too, though not as often.  We started in sept 2012, had our regular Dec trip, then by march, still nothing so we went to Ireland in may.  We kept ttc the whole time though.  When June came around, and still no bfp, we planned a trip to Iceland.  If I’m still not pregnant by march of this year, were going to Greece and Jordan in May.  Of I can’t use my vacation time for maternity leave, I need to use it for something good!

@Nic01:  I would plan about 3 months in advance.  I have fairly long cycles (45 ish days) so I’d been at most 8-12 week pregnant if I did get a BPF.  I not worried about flying in first tri.  The only thing I’m worried about for my next trip is the energy for an all day hike in Petra if by some miracle I get pregnant between now and May.

This is a great idea! I had planned in my mind a smaller scale version of consolation if I don’t get a BFP this month. IF AF arrives, then that night I will be going out for HUGE margeritas with friends and also spending a bit of money on frivolous things at the mall 😉

@Nic01:  We have recently started this on a smaller scale. I was trying for 8 months and then had a MMC. We’re now in TWW of cycle 9. It’s all a bit of a downer so we decided to do something you can’t do when pregnant every time AF arrives. This month it’s wine tasting and a short trip away. However, we are planning on going to the US (lastminute.com!!!) if we don’t get BFP by April and from there we’ll be working on our summer trip!

Your trips sound great. Though, you’d be surprised the percntage of  ppl who  get pregnant within 3 months. I hope you won’t be disappointed if you get your BFP!!!
