@sherryberry:

I know exactly how you feel! Sometimes you feel like yelling “WTF!!!? COME ON!!”

It doesn’t help that it’s the season of engagements as well. Anyone ever seen the original Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer? Sometimes I feel like we’re the misfit toys on the Island of Misfit Toys, waiting for santa to put us on his sleigh. Odd comparison, but whatever, lol.

*sigh*

Yep, I’m feeling it. If I hear one more time about Kim Kardashian getting engaged after 6months and “they are famous, not like it will last anyway.” I’m gonna scream. Well,  at least he asked, even if it was kinda fast and carzy.LOL This “understanding” of knowing he will ask is good, but by damn man. Seriously, I don’t need a ring, we can call my Paster who is my uncle and I’md sure he’d do it for free. All we have to get is the marriage license. I don’t need the extra stuff, but know what? the longer I wait, the more he is going get added to the list. If I was that kind of woman, I’d make it a big fairy tale, just to igg him.LMAO

I’ve been having a few days like this- I think its because I know bf is about to get a new job and possibly sell his car, and I really want to be engaged, that I get pretty impatient about it.  On the other hand, I want it to be on both of our timelines, not just mine, and we’ve only been together a year.

@GwenvonD: haha misfit toys is AWESOME!!!! I totally relate!

My BF told me he was actually “thinking” about proposing a couple weeks ago! WTF?!?!? Don’t tell me that!! a billion questions ran through my head!

so you have the ring? its ready? where is it? do you have a plan? where is it?!?!!?! I want to snoop so bad! but I won’t. =(

yeah, with the thought of him possibly having it makes me even more impatient than I was! I didn’t know this was possible!

I totally understand!  I was told “probably this summer” and now it is so hard to be waiting and know it is coming “sometime” but have no idea when!  I am a huge planner and it kills me that I have no control over this lol.

@BreeninBoston: I know that feeling so well haha, I’m a huge planner as well 🙂 My timeline has recently been changed to “probably in the next few months”, but I have no idea when either. I feel more at easy now that I know it’s coming soon though 🙂

@ms.oregon.state: I’d have kicked him. Seriously. That was so not cool.

I am possibly the most impatient person I’d ever heard of. Bar none. A few nights ago my SO mentioned to me how well I’m taking this waiting thing, and how he’s really happy that I’m being patient. I was like “well, what else can I do? It’s not like I can go marry myself, and throwing a tantrum won’t get it done, so I gotta just sit here and occupy myself til you get around to it” and he laughed and said “yeah, that’s called patience.” I have a timeline, of sorts. I just have to get there. But he and I do have open in depth talks about planning, so it helps. And he reads the Bee. *hides*

Long story short, I know it can be to be impatient. :] It gets better, promise. And if it doesn’t, wine helps.

@MeAndDubby: haha I was just grasping on the fact that it could be soon!

I’m a ridiculous planner and cannot take much more waiting.

I feel you. Part of me, and this sounds bad I know, just wants to have it over already. I want the engagement and wedding to be done and in the past just so I can clear this haze from my head and get on with my normal life. It kind of sucks to be in this perpetual state of waiting–with all the anxiety and emotion that comes with it.

I tell you I am going to be happy as a clam the day AFTER the engagement when I can stop thinking about all this crap.

After doing so good all year this just came back on me within the last week or so. I’m like ugh here we go again. I hate feeling like this. SO and I have been having so much fun and growing closer than ever and I hate to be in this mood again. But I can’t help it. Almost 4 years! UGH!!!

@Taylor4: “I tell you I am going to be happy as a clam the day AFTER the engagement when I can stop thinking about all this crap.” DITTO!
