Today I went looking for a dress for my mom. While at the other dress stores I had to also look to see if I could find my dress there, to see if they had it in the other colors. My dress comes in 3 colors: ivory/silver, white & champagne.
While at 1 store I thought I was looking at the champagne color dress. (I thought to myself so glad I ordered it in ivory silver)…. but then the lady told me that was the ivory silver!!! The tag said it was ivory silver too… so the panic starts to seep in
AND IT GETS WORSE
So I carefully looked over the dress. The beading and sequins were yellowed. Im thinking maybe its dirty. I looked at the bottom of the dress and the sequins there were white (how they were suppose to be). The dress didnt look like it had been stained. It is a Spring 2013 dress, so I doubt it has aged in just months. It looks like a manufactuer mistake!!! And of course Im panicked that this mistake could happen on my dress 🙁
Sorry the pic is so big- tried to resize it.

@SparkleBee11: Lord, that would have sent me over the edge too. I doubt it will happen to you too but to ease my mind I would probably call the store you ordered it from and have them double check with the manufacturer that everything is in order. Sorry! Stop scanning the racks, it only causes trouble!

@SparkleBee11: You’d be surprised…the dress might have aged. Do they have window displays? The sun will yellow the plastic sequins and beading. That could explain why there’s more yellowing in some spots (more exposed to light) and not others.

@MrsM914: I did call my place. They said if that if any dress came in like that, they would have sent it back before the bride ever saw it. She said it will be exactly like the dress I tried on and if it isnt I would have time to send it back and have it fixed.
@Bazingau: No it was in a show room. It was really odd that only top 1/2 had it. It was as if the manufactuer had just changed the beading 1/2 way through.
