Sounds like you are having a day like I am! But at least you know he has the ring! I just had to move to a new place with roomies :-( Thought I would be married by now! I want to get married to badly and start running a household. I'm sick of this teenage crap!

keep strong .if he has the ring he is thinking bout it.if it makes u feel any better i have been waiting on a purchased ring for 2 yrs.(i think its happening very soon though) give him till the end of the yr before u pounce on him.u will feel better when he does it on his own
It's just one of those days and all of us have them. I was an emotional mess yesterday. Today, I'm just a mess (lol) Sometimes, the frustration of waiting takes its toll. Hopefully, your guy will be on bended knee soon!

When he bought the ring we were together and we discussed the fact that we will be married before the end of the year. He better not be thinking about a one-month engagement. As you can see, I am hoping for an October wedding. (We'll elope or do something super simple).
At least you know he has the ring!! :) I'm sure he'll pop the question soon!!
Does he realize how much planning goes into weddings? I hinted to my bf that I would like a 1-1.5 yr engagement, so he got the point. He didn't realize it takes that long to plan a wedding, so maybe your guy needs to know that lol.
Oh well I hope he does it soon. I totally know how you feel I 've been having one of the days lately. My b/f older sis is getting engaged next month and were going to the wedding. My b/f younger sis just got engaged last week and my cousin got married last week also. Talk about all these marriage plans ugh. I just want to know when his going to do it he jokingly said last year what if I propose next yr although I don't think it will happen this year. I hope next year I just want to come out and ask him but then he gets defensive and says his not telling me when. I just want a general timeline ugh.

I was already feeling a little down that I am still waiting before the day began. We had to register for new IDs here at work this morning. While I was sitting there, four separate ladies came in and mentioned that they were getting married this Spring and asked about the procedure for changing their names. For real.
And while I was sitting there I got a message on my blackberry from a friend announcing that she is engaged (and yes, she's been with her FI about half the time as I have - not that it really matters). I'm truly happy for everyone but I am just feeling SO impatient today.
I know he has the ring and I don't know what he is waiting for. Any occassion or special time that *I* can think of for him to ask has come and gone. I am wondering whether he even has a plan.
Sigh.
