Hey, its me again :) I posted on here before I went dress shopping and right when I came back lol

ok so here is the deal. I thought the dress looked beautiful in the store when I had it on. Everyone loved it and was saying how great it looked and I was happy. I told the lady I would be back in a few weeks to order it.

but then I got home and looked at the pictures and I dont like it. I mean its ok but it dosnt make me happy ever time I see it (like I think the right dress should make you feel)

Everyone says the pictures dont do the dress justice but Im still concerned. I dont know if it looks good on me anymore.

so this is what I was thinking. Before I go back to order it I could go try on a few more dresses. I really really really need to try the maggie sottero Jenna dress on. l I have been eyeing that dress way before I even got engaged. and if I dont like it I will go back and try the other dress on again and if I still like how it looks on me I will order it.

What do you guys think, here is me in the dress (the dress was to small so It didnt corset all the way down in the pics)

I think the dress is beautiful on you, but since you have not ordered it then you have the opportunity to make sure and try on some more.  Why not!?  You only get this chance once so take the time and pick out just the right dress that gives you that beautiful feeling.  You never know, you may fall back into love with this dress once you try on some more.   Have fun with it!

'That dress looks amazing on you. I am inclined to believe others when they say the pictures don't do it justice because lace and little details get lost in ligting. I would go try it back on just to make sure, but it really is flattering on you and you look happy in it!

i can only speak for myself, but sometimes I second guess my clothes choices based on my own delusional perception of my body.

You do look gorgeous in the dress, but if you need to try the other dress on, do it! You don't want to spend the entire time wondering what the other dress will look like!

I would definitely keep looking - not because there's a problem with how you look in the dress, but because it doesn't quite sound like one that's sticking with you after the shopping trip.

I'm not a big believer in the whole "the dress" thing, but my sales consultant did tell me one really helpful thing - she ordered me to take a week or two or three and just not look at dresses at all, and then when I came back, go with the one or two dresses that I kept coming back to in my head.

I think the dress is beautiful and agree that the pictures probably don't do it justice.  If you have time though, then I say you try some more dresses on.  I love my dress, but wish I had tried more on - I bought my first trip out.  If you've been eyeing Jenna, definitely try it on!  Make sure you re-visit this dress again though.  If you put it back on you'll know whether or not it will be the right one for you.

I know EXACTLY how you feel.  SO much that I've now bought two dresses.  I got so caught up in the relief and excitement that they had dresses that fit me (18w) and didn't look "that bad" (my own worst critic) that I only tried on three.  I Picked the 2nd one.  I didn't really let it all soak in and look at my 1st dress from all angles.  SO...I said that if I had to give any Bees any advice it would be to try on more than a few dresses.  Even IF you think you've found the one.  Also let the shop recommend dresses for you to try.  That's how I ended up with my 2nd.  I wish I would've avoided the whole drama by just trying on more in the first place.

I have been second guessing the dress I bought for a while now. Today, in fact, I went to another bridal shop and found one that I know, without question, I wish I would have tried on before I made my purchase.

You do NOT want to be stuck with dress remorse (like me). As much as you like this dress, you are having reservations. Go back, try some more, TAKE PICTURES, and sleep on it. Unless your wedding is tomorrow, you do not have to make the official decision today. :)

The dress fits well and more importantly, you look happy wearing it. Don't regret your purchase, embrace it!

You haven't bought the dress yet and have plenty of time before the wedding, so there's no harm in still looking. Try on the 'Jenna' and maybe some other Maggie dresses to get a better feel of what you really want in your wedding dress. :)

Too funny... similar happened to me. The same dress was the lowest of my top contenders, I felt sexy in it but liked another dress more. When I got home, I hated the pics of the dress, I thought it made me more top heavy (the dress sucked in my hips alot) instead of accentuating my hourglass shape...

I'm going for more shopping....So did you decide on a dress?

Hmmm, I actually think it's pretty flattering. Perhaps you didn't like it in the picutres because it was too small and snug? Once you get it in your size and altered I think it would look great. But I agree, there's no harm with trying on others. Just give yourself a deadline so you're not drifiting until the last moment.
