Having second thoughts about size

I think it looks beautiful and is not too big or too small. It suits your hand well and I can clearly see the baguettes without the center diamond getting in the way, although your center stone is clearly the star of the setting! I love your ring and I wouldn’t change a thing about it! I’m sure once you add a band it won’t seem so large to you. It may just take some getting used to even though it’s been a month. Gorgeous! 🙂

honeybee2014:  Honestly, I’ve seen much bigger ones on the site. I still see the baguettes just fine!

ETA: I say this as someone who wanted a small-ish, reasonably priced ring.

honeybee2014:  Your ring is seriously perfection! And, to me, it seems obvious that it is a baguette setting. Gorgeous!

There is never a too big diamond.  Bigger is better.  However, I had to look closer to notice the baguettes once I read baguettes.  I just saw band.  Now that I know they are there I see them just fine.

Personally, I think it’s too big. It’s lovely, sure. But for me, I wanted the setting to be just as much a focal point as the center stone, so mine is more balanced.

It does look like a solitaire to me. A gorgeous, breathtaking solitaire, but definitely a solitaire. IMO

I like the size on you – do you mind if I ask what size finger you are for my own reference?  We have been looking at diamonds in that size range.

The gorgeous cut of your diamond is sucking me in… I can’t stop looking at it!

The baguettes are less prominent but I think that is better.  It’s one of those little details that will make you go “oh that’s pretty” when you notice them.

honeybee2014:  I think it’s gorgeous. I understand where you’re coming from, but ultimately this your FI’s way of expressing love and affection and it’s for from the worst fate in the world:-)

I say enjoy it.

I love your ring and think the proportions are perfect!  The baguettes are a great size and are noticeable. I’ve seen a few rings that are similar to yours but have bigger baguettes and trust me yours is way nicer looking!

I like the size on you. Your ring has a lovely and substantial stone with beautiful baguettes which I noticed immediately. Do not question perfection, just enjoy it 😉
