It's so tough finding shoes! I think the wedges are a better idea with the grass, you don't want to fall and hurt yourself!
Shoes are definitely tough. I honestly have 3 pairs: one for the ceremony and pictures, one to dance in, and then a pair of flats for when I can't take the heels any more.
Even after 3 pairs, i'm still tempted to buy more :)
Oh yes, i think i bought 4 pairs for my wedding. I love shoes. I used two pairs on the actual day. And used one of the other pairs for the rehearsal dinner.
I feel like I've looked at at least 10,000 pairs online! I believe wearing heels in grass works fine. You just walk more on your toes than you already do when wearing heels. I even stood for my sister's wedding on wet dirt in heels. I wear heels often when I go out, but never in the daytime. I really think it's not that big of a deal. But I do totally get the glamour thing. Personally, if I'm not wearing heels, I don't feel dressed up so i will definitely be wearing heels for my ceremony (and walking on grass). Do what makes you feel good!
I am having mine custom made but still plan on finding the perfect gold flats in case my feet hurt.

Hey girls! I'm a size 11 big foot bride and I've been around the ring a million times with my shoes. I finally settled on little strappy wedge sandals dyed to match my BM's dresses for the ceremony, and then I found beautiful flowery flip flops from nina that I'll wear for the reception. Now - I know this is ridiculous - but I keep feeling like I want heels for that true, all out, glamour feeling. Problem is, my aisle is grass and I'd have to get those heel stopper things. Why am I having shoe regrets? Has anyone else changed their mind a million times on shoes?
