    Hey bees,

I was wondering if anyone's venue wanted them to take their rental linens with them RIGHT after their reception. My venue told me I might have to because they have to reset for an event the next day the night of my wedding, but I have no idea how this would be possible. I told them I know we can pick them up early the next morning but I don't know what they are going to say. Anyone have some insight?

Do you have a DOC or someone willing to help you out after the wedding since obviously you can't/won't be doing this yourself.

Ask the venue if they can hold the linens for you until someone can pick them up (perhaps the day after?).

If you absolutely have to pick things up that night, delegate the task to someone else ;). It's the last thing you'll be thinking about after your wedding!!

We pretty much have to take everything with us the night of our wedding. I dont know if there is an even t the next day, but we are going to be paying an hourly fee if we go in on an off day to clean.  So we are just going to delegate to family and do our grand exit, go home, change, and then meet up with family to help them clean.

I really dont mind that though.  That is how we did it for my sisters wedding and it allowed us to do a brunch the next day after sleeping in.

I did think about delegating it to someone but I have no idea who I could delegate it to. Practically everyone is staying at the hotel and we are all taking a shuttle back (we don't want anyone drinking and driving). Anyone that is staying until the reception is over most likely won't be driving a vehicle. My DOC is only contracted through the middle of dinner and I don't know that we would be able to swing paying for all the remaining hours for her to get them at the end of the night.

Is there anyway your Fi can drive your personal car over to the reception venue before the wedding?  Then, you and your Fi can have the venue people just pile everything into your car for you at the end of the night, and you can drive that back to the hotel.  Plus, you won't have to worry about it until the morning.  We did this, and it worked out well for us.
