So I love my engagement ring but the unique basket shape on the bottom is making it hard to find a wedding band that fits. I’m almost 100% anti-gap unless if it’s a chevron band–where it mostly sits flush except for the point in the middle.
Here is the original Etsy listing of my ring with some multi-angle views: https://www.etsy.com/listing/110703283/natural-green-peridot-solid-14k-white?ref=shop_home_active_17 I’ve contacted the original jeweler and he said he doesn’t have anything already for sale nor can he make something that fits.
So can anyone recommend an online jeweler or one in ATL (where I live) that could make a band that fits or potentially has some bands that I could try on? Or, if you happen to have a ring like mine please show me your engagement ring and wedding band set. (:

I’m not sure what country you are in or where but my engagement ring is equally an usual shape (see my previous threads for pics) I had one custom made and it fits perfectly around the awkward shape of my ring and its one of a kind. I would look into having one custom made and it doesn’t cost as much as you think.

Holy Moses, that’s beautiful! I have the same problem and opted to forgo a band. Loved it when a stranger complimented my “wedding ring” because that’s how I refer to it. Damn! Can’t upload a pic 🙁

If you know of any private jewelers try that and see what ideas they have. Stay away from mall stores when going custom. Jewelers can actually be quite affordable to do custom work.

misskittenn: Love your ring! What about a super skinny band like the Tiffany Metro (not necessarily from Tiffany) that will slide under your ring even if the basket is low?

JenJ2B: Yes I think custom might be my only choice. Though I try to be hopeful that there’s a magic ring already in existence that will fit.
GreenBayBee: And thank-you! I was so apprehensive about getting a gemstone e-ring but I’m really glad I followed through with it. Your ring is lovely! I’ve thought about forgoing a wedding band also but my FI really wants me to have one.
Strawberryshmoo: Yes absolutely, I would only trust a private jeweler to take my ring, and even then that makes me nervous.
wrkbrk: Thank-you! And I wish I could fit a super skinny band, but the basket actually touches the top of my finger so nothing can fit under it.
