Hi! I’m actually very excited to take my soon to be hubby’s name. My name is Ciera Lynn Fox, his is Wyatt. I was thinking of moving Fox to my middle name, and my new middle name will be Lynn-Fox, so my full name would be Ciera Lynn-Fox Wyatt, I’ll still have the middle initial “L”. I love all my names so it’s hard to let go, and I don’t want to hyphenate my last name. i know this is a strange idea. What did you change your name to? I’m not a very traditional bride.

Ciera Lynn Fox Wyatt sounds great.

@cieritaqt: I would not want to lose the Fox either (I love animal names lol) but I also love your middle name because mine also starts with an L and I love doing a cursive upper case L (not that I ever have a reason to write out my whole name lol). I like the way you are wanting to do your name, with the hyphenated middle name. Although, if you hyphenate your last name instead you will keep your same initials…but signing stuff might be a pain if you are the type to actually write out your name (mine is more of a scribble after years of signing a million documents in the military)

@peachacid: Thank you! I was thinking to hyphenate my middle name, so that it’s considered one middle name, not two. Less confusing on paper work. Is that weird?

I would have hyphenated if his name wasn’t so damn long lol. I kept my first and middle names, because my father gave me my first name, my mom gave me my middle.

Hyphens can get complicated. I would have two distinct middle names.

@love108: Thanks, then what would my middle initial be? Both initials?

I’m just completely taking his name and getting rid of my maiden name (a little sad but I’ll adjust)
I love Cara Lynn Fox Wyatt!
