Have any of you fellow bees been to Hawaii?? We are starting to book our trip for our honeymoon and we are looking for suggestions!
We are doing Oahu for 4 nights and will do Pearl Harbor for a day. Thats all we have planned for Oahu..we do not have a car so restaurant suggestions close to Waikiki would be great!
We will then to go Maui for 7 nights and stay at the Fairmont. I know we are doing the road to Hana one day and the bike trip down a mountain at dawn to see the sunrise. We know we want to go snorkeling and go to a Luao..but there are so many companies to chose from for those things! We also only have one restaurant recommendation in Maui and more would be welcome as we are huge foodies!!!
Any suggestions are appreciated!!!

Also marking this because Hawaii has always been a place I want to go.. I saw a thread on here about Hawaii the other day, there was a really cool condo resort there.
Here’s a link to the thread:
& here’s the link to the website for the neat-o condo place!
Best of luck ladies!

My husband and I are from Oahu and spent our honeymoonon Maui. If you haven’t booked your hotel yet, I would suggest staying out on the north shore somewhere. It’s much slower and more relaxed. Also, the sand is much better. (Though I am of coursed extremely biased, I grew up on the north shore).
Kihei was my favorite part of maui, such a fun town, good beaches etc. Though, we both agreed that we prefer O’ahu. We used the Maui revealed book, which helped us find lots of fun things to do on Maui. One thing that was really enjoyed was the Venus Pool past Hana. If you are going all that way it’s a great thing to check out. There was also a hike to four waterfalls on the way into Hana that we enjoyed. I can’t remember what it was called now, but it’s easy to google.
I’ve commented on a couple of other Haii threads that you guys might find helpful. Have fun!
