So I’ve already been a Weddingbee planning my wedding, and now it’s my best friend’s turn, and i’m here Matron of Honor. She’s having a September 2012 wedding, and is thinking of having a Hawaiian theme wedding with plum, orange and fuchsia for colors. I would LOVE some help with ideas and that from you bees! Thanks so much 🙂

Im thinking you want to keep it elegant Hawaiian and not kitchy Hawaiian, yes?
I love the idea of using alot of pineapple type things like this invitation:http://www.invitationcrush.com/laser-cut-pineapple-wedding-invitations/
And for centerpieces, using ginger flowers, orchids, mini pineapples would be sooo cute.
Or having Hawaiian Shave Ice with different flavors for guests.
Serve Mai Tais as signature cocktails.
Have fresh flowers for the women to put behind their ear.
This page has a really cute inspiration board of pineapples: http://www.onestylishbride.com/wedding-inspiration/tutti-frutti/

More ideas! lol
Ukelele player for cocktail hour or ceremony.
Hire a luau dancer for entertainment.
Have “slippahs” (flip flops) for guests for dancing!
Hibiscus, orchids, ginger flowers, bird of paradise… Those big green leaves… lol
You could have pork, grilled fish, rice, etc for food.
There’s some really pretty invitations on Etsy, like this one : http://www.etsy.com/listing/38348231/tropical-wedding-invitation-the-modern
