Asteria777:  I love Hayley Paige dresses. I had to google the Emeryn gown and it is stunning – are you thinking about it?

I wore a Blush by Hayley Paige dress – does that count? It was quite a simple one, but somehow was just what I wanted.

I don’t have any good full shots of the dress from my wedding day (we had terrible weather and although we got some great photos anyway, somehow we just didn’t get that one shot, you know?) but here is a picture of me in the sample (i.e. wrong size) I tried, and then a couple of detail shots from the big day. I just fell in love with the ‘shimmer’ lace – it kind of made the dress glow.

I LOVE emery but it came out after I was done dress shopping 🙂 I also love my dress thankfully haha. Here is my dress, hayley paige keaton (I’m selling it used on preownedweddingdresses.com):

raspberrymojito:  I was thinking of buying your dress! It was saved to my favourites but my traditional groom would have none of it! He won’t be happy unless I walk down the isle in the plainest, whitest wedding dress….sigh.

anyways I live Hayley paige almost as much as Lazaro. I love Tara Keely too….all those designers.

Miss_Mae:  Your shoes are so cute!  Are they flats?  I’m having the hardest time finding wedding-appropriate flats, but don’t want to sacrifice my feet and ankles to heels.

OP: I’ve also purchased a Hayley Paige gown, but I didn’t try on any of the fit to flare styles.  Carrie was the runner up to the gown I chose though, so I definitely love the embellished straps that style shares with the Emeryn.  Here are some pics of other brides in your dress:

Asteria777:  Thanks so much! I would go nuts waiting till May… If I were you, I would absolutely fabricate a reason to go back and try on your dress again and take pictures. You could take some special shapewear or a cover up (cardigan or the like) and say you wanted to see if they were compatible the dress. It may end up saving you many hours going through google image search results to get your ‘fix’ 😉

beerandcupcakes:  Oh, thank you! They were actually little 5 cm kitten heels, and I wore them with those special attachments that stop your heels going into the grass (which made them a lot more stable for standing – which I appreciated amongst my ceremony nerves when my leg started twitching like I was a mad woman!!!). They were Jo Mercer (Australian label) and so unbelievably comfortable. I can’t tolerate high heels for long at all, but had no problems with these. Hope you’re able to find something – it can be so tricky!
