    I honestly think a sash or belt would be too much. Right now it has, lace, organza, truffles, open back, high neck, scalloped edges and I think a belt or sash would be too close to the lowered back and look odd in back. 

    This has a lot going on already. It’s beautiful as is. 

    I vote no belt or sash. How about some fantastic earrings instead?  Sometimes less is more.

    Its a very soft, romantic, innocent looking dress. I think even bling would be too much for it. Pearls would be a better option. Still dressy and formal but a softer look.  Yes a floral crown would look great, even a smidge of baby’s breath in it.

    Yay a fellow HP bride!! Love the dress. I think a flower crown would look great. I voted for no sash. I don’t think the dress needs it and I think your waist will already be nicely accentuated by the division of the bodice and skirt. 

    I personally think brides use sashes too much… they rarely make a dress look better in my opinion. A dress like yours definitly doesn’t need anything added to it, it is beautiful on its own 🙂

    I voted no sash as well. Love the dress as is. I think a flower crown would be very pretty. A small one though..nothing over the top.

    Noelliemar: I voted no sash as I don’t think it would go with the dress with it’s layers and other details, because of the low back a sash may not look right proportionally speaking.

    No sash, and go easy on the accessories. The dress doesn’t need large earrings, maybe just a simple bracelet. I think delicate, gold jewellery would be really pretty with it. You could do a floral crown, but then I would really pare back on any other accessories.

    I’d skip the sash, wear a very small, simple floral crown and maybe a small stack of organic inspired gold bracelets.  It’s a beautiful dress!

    Haha love this thread- I added a beaded sash, sewn directly onto the gown with crystals all the way around, and I also had chunkier blingy accesories and everyone raved how much they loved all the bling and how elegant it managed to look.
