Ahhhhh! So exciting! Sometimes I wonder if he has secretly asked my dad already without me knowing, Im just not sure.

Awwww yay! That is so, so exciting! Such a great milestone on the way to getting engaged! Super excited for you! I'm totaly waiting for THAT step, as you know, but I am SO glad you get to know that it happened!
**update** HE brought it up last night! It was weird because it was right after I emailed my dad to verify that was the conversation I was thinking. He told me that he was really nervous asking him and that he said yes, etc. Dad also told him he could pay for the wedding or write us a check. Which option would you all choose? I want a destination wedding, but small and classy. Any thoughts?

We went out to Nebraska this weekend to visit my dad and siblings... I had kind of planned on him asking this weekend, but I figured we would be seeing him again at Thanksgiving and Christmas so I wasn't too worried about it. I didn't say anything about it before we left, (succeeding at the challenge, and he is much happier and ready to do it!)
Anyways, we were staying in the guest house and BF says he is going to get coffee in the main house while I was getting ready. I kind of had a feeling, but didn't think too much about it. There were three small children running around, how much talking could get done? I waited about a half hour before I walked over and all kids were in watching a movie, Dad and BF were in the kitchen. I walked in and said Hi and dad was like, "we had a talk... so, that's over, everything is good." I was like okay... Didn't want to say anything else, because I think BF didn't want me to know! But I acted like it was no big deal and went on with my morning! Secretly extremely excited and couldn't wait to get on WB to share! Totally going to call my dad for details tomorrow!
Super excited and one step closer! Also, the challenge is totally working. He tries to get me to talk about at least once a day! But I hold out and act like I don't care ;)
PS I've been reading everyones post all weekend on my phone, but couldn't comment! Will get around to commenting on everyone tomorrow :)
