We stopped at Jared's just to look and he bought a freaking ring! It's beautiful! http://design.jared-diamonds.com/engagement-rings/scott-kay-settings/ring/item_60-6143.asp We spent a lot of time there picking out settings and diamonds (I almost went with this beautiful 1 carat pear...mmm...). We ended up with a .86 round and I cannot wait for him to ask me to marry him and have this beauty on my finger!

I'm in the same boat - my SO has bought THE ring and now I am waiting.....he jokes (maybe he is serious?) about Opening Day in April <----Die hard Cubs Fan.

@sunshine319 Good luck, girlfriend! Isn't it a hundred times worse sinc eyou know it is in the house? You're sooooo close. I won't even hold it against you that you just admitted to being a Cubs fan because in the hive we love no matter what.
