Weddingbee boards

So, here's the story! (I figured I had better get this posted BEFORE a new month starts!)

Thanksgiving morning I was standing in our kitchen rinsing out paint brushes after finishing up a personalized ornament order for one of my bosses. (About 20 minutes before, I text my SIL and said 'OMG! Today's the day...I just know it! He woke up extra early and I asked why and his response was he had to wash the car?? Then when I got up the light was left on in the second bedroom we NEVER go in. So, bring your camera and BE READY! Just in case...' My SIL text back and was like 'omigod! this coould be it. Im bringing the camera.') I had a paint brush in both hands when he walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. His arms were SO COLD from getting damp while washing the car that I dropped what was in my hands and literally froze up! I said something along the lines of OMG thats SO cold! He laughed and walked away. About 2 minutes late he came back up behind me and wrapped his arms around me again. This time, he was really warm and had removed the wet jacket and the sensation it gave me made me start singing a song (which NEITHER of us can remember WHAT song it was!). I said 'Do you know this song?' and he said 'No. Do you know THIS song?' and he raised his hand up and flipped open the box with the ring in it and said 'Will you marry me?' I cried and cried and hugged him so tight he said if I didn't release some pressure his head would pop off (so I let go a little but not all the way) and I said YES! YES I WILL MARRY YOU! Then the texting and calling and facebook/myspace announcing began!  ...and that's our story of the beginning of this chapter in our lives!!!

@crebre: lol...that SO happened! Then we got home and he put together my new craft center he bought me! I LOVE it!

@missjyc: I teared up every time I told the story to another person. I smiled ALL day! I was SO excited I could not sleep. I got up Thanksgiving morning at 6:30, he proposed around 9am, and we went midnight shopping and then shopped until like 10am and came home. I was still so excited I did not fall asleep until after 5pm!!!(and of course I slept till like 7 the next morning! lol)
