I'm happy your cake was tasty around the 6 month mark. I've heard that freezing them makes them taste horrible. It sounds like you had a wonderful first anniversary! Congrats on the one year mark!
@FloretteLiz: The cake was tasty, but not delicious like it was on our wedding day. We had it loosely wrapped a few times then wrapped again outside of the box. Thanks for the Congrats!

Congrats on a successful first anniversary!! :) I've been thinking about a boudoir, but just haven't had the itme to think about it while planning the wedding. Great idea to do it for 1st anniversary!

@pengoala: Thanks for the well-wishes! I think the Boudoir was a great 1st anniversary gift. It allowed me plenty of time to save money and select clothing, jewelry, and shoes for the photoshoot. As well as time to create the photobook on mixbooks. You should consider it for your future anniversary...it's tons of fun being "sneaky" about it! 
@bmarie12: My photographer was Regina from Fresh Photo in St. Louis. She did amazing work, was super sweet, and affordable too!

Aww.. this is such a great idea! I'd thought about doing this as a wedding gift for FI, but now I think I'll wait for our anniversary. I'm so busy with planning, school, and work, that I really don't think I'd be able to fit it in before our wedding anyway.

@MsFoxxy: Thanks for the wishes! I would highly recommend the boudoir photo shoot for your first anniversary. When I googled anniversary gifts, I learned that paper is the traditional 1st anniversary gift, so a photo album (made from paper) would be/is perfect. Plus, you'll have time to save funds, pick out outfits, lingerie, etc.
What a great gift! Glad he enjoyed it.
I have to say I was a little concerned when this was posted under bridesmaids though :P

I am just seeing this. I hope you are subscribed to this thread. I saw your thread wondering if you should do this. We are a similar size/shape and I shared your same hesitation. I was going to encourage you to GO FOR IT and then I saw the thread was 6 months old. I am so glad you did it!! Look at you, miss thing, in your bright pink! No wonder hubby loved it. You're gorgeous and he loves you.

Today is our 1st Anniversary!
I was very eager to wake this morning and give my hubby his gift...a boudoir photo album! At first I was uncertain how he'd respond (he'd question how much I spent or what the purpose was), but he absolutely LOVED it!!! As he viewed the first couple of photos, he quickly commented, "Wow...you did this for me?!" Then, he looked at a few other pages and said that he was thoroughly impressed by how gorgeous and sexy I looked. Towards the end of the album, he said that it was the BEST gift he'd ever received and thought it was a very thoughtful gift. I just loved seeing his reaction as he turned page by page and seeing him hold it close to his chest once he finished looking at it (time after time)! I hope he'll enjoy the boudoir album for years to come!

The rest of our 1st Anniversary celebration has been wonderful! I made his favorite breakfast in bed, he shared with me that I get a spa day soon, we visited with his family, did some shopping at the mall, went to dinner at one of our favorite Italian restaurants, and we're getting ready to watch our wedding video soon!
LOVE is GRAND!
