Weddingbee boards

He did it this morning! We were headed to brunch and then going for a hike, and actually, I was kinda expecting it on the hike! He caught me off guard though and proposed before leaving the house... in front of the Christmas tree! He put on an acoustic version of The Proclaimers' I'm gonna be (500 miles) and handed me a little wrapped box. He asked me to sit down and open it... I was thinking... "Wait, right now? No way ..... maybe he just wants to give me something to wear before we start our day .. an early present..." As I unwrapped the present, I realized it was a ring box and started shaking.... and of course, crying. He got down on one knee as I opened the box and barley glanced at the ring before focusing my attention on him! He asked, I said yes and there was lots of crying and kissing! We left for brunch and celebrated with mimosas! The best Christmas Eve EVER. :) 

And the ring ... my picture doesn't do it justice, so I included the one from the website as well ... It's  a champagne peach sapphire .. natural, untreated in a rose gold setting with diamonds. The rose gold is absolutely PERFECT! So subtle and easily works with yellow and white gold. I LOVE IT. The sapphire ... WHOA...... It sparkles like I never thought a sapphire could sparkle! We were in home depot this afternoon and I just kept staring! 

I'm head over heels in love with my FIANCE! Eeeeekkkkk my fiance! So exciting. Thanks for letting me share;)
