- Wedding: September 2013
Well ladies, it finally happened. I have been lurking the past few months and now I am officially and E-BEE!!!! The tale begins with me working only a half day because yesterday was also our anniversary. So I came home and on the coffee table was a bottle of Champagne being chilled and our two Christmas wine glasses (we got last new year’s eve when I had to drive 4 hours to pick him up from the airport and we had to stay in another town for NYE), and a bouqet of beautiful flowers. Also there were rose petals leading towards our bedroom and beginning at the door and ever couple steps, there were hershey kisses with a note under and each note he had written a memorable kiss we shared. (By this time I already started crying) So I walk to the bedroom and open the door and on the bed rose petals are everywhere and on the bed there is a card and 1 single rose but also there was my dog….AND A NEW PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t stop crying because I couldn’t believe I got a new puppy, I just kept saying, “Is he mine???? What is he??? OMG” so he told me to look at his tag on his collar and when I did enscribed on one side said “Marry me?” and the other was our anniversary date 10-17-12, as I turned to look at him, he was down on one knee and he asked if I would marry him!! Then I really started crying and he began crying too and he put the ring on and we hugged and kissed then I turned and hugged my dog and my new puppy!!! He also had a small silver jewelry box for me so I could put my ring in it to go to bed and the jewelry box had our names and the date written on it!
It was wonderful, more than I could have ever imagined and a major surprise, especially since he did it so early in the day, like 1:30 pm. Then his sister came over and took pics of us then we had a celebratory dinner at a restaurant in downtown Columbus called the Boatouse and Confluence Park. Below are pics!
