Well, we've been planning a wedding since august, we setted a date and I considered that was it.

Imagine my reaction when this past saturday he surprised me with a ring!

So, past saturday, the day I was feeling crapy and not pretty at all, he decided we should go for a romantic walk at the Nainari Lagoon, an artificial pond considered the town's main natural attraction, it's quite romantic there.

So we were walking and suddenly he stops, hands me his cell phone and plays a little slideshow he made with pictures of us and the song we agreed will be our first dance. It remembered our time together (it's been almost 8 yrs so there's a lot to remember), at the end of the slideshow it said: 'After all these years there's just one thing I need to know...' I look up and he pulls out a little box and says he needs to know if I'll marry him.

I couldn't answer, I just started to cry. I finally managed to say yes, and he asks me, which finger its it?. We stayed there kissing, not quite knowing what to do next, and then the perfect way to kill the mood: a fire ant bit the sole of my foot!.

I was really shocked, most of the time I know ehwn he's plotting something so he can hardly surprise me. By this time I was not expecting a ring at all (it's not a must in our culture), and between us I wasn't expecting a real rock (diamonds are rare and way more expensive than you'll think in our country). Moreover.. once I saw the ring in good lighting, it's a setting I saw online once and really liked (not sure if he actually asked my sis, that's the only way he could know)

So here's my precious, and refering to a recent thread, it fits my personallity, it's totally ME!!

Thank you so much ladies. I'm head over heels right now . Downside: I can't wear my ring because 1) It's a bit bigger and need to resize it, 2) we're not telling anyone yet (except you OF COURSE).
