Hi hive! My wonderful husband, (we became legally married before our October wedding a month ago) surprised me this weekend by purchasing the perfect shoes to go with my dress. These were the shoes I was given at Priscilla of Boston to try with my dress, but I couldn’t justify the amount of money they cost and walked away without them. The last three months I have bought at least 4 other pairs of shoes that I thought would be "perfect" and in the end never felt perfect. So this weekend he made a stop at Priscilla and purchased the Filippa Scott "Maisie" for me. I am so excited! However, the shoes have some bling on them, I was planning on wearing simple vintage pearls as jewelry. Should I change it up and add some bling to my jewelry as well?

How sweet! Those are adorable! Definitely wear some bling for jewelry, too! Then you got a little sparkle up top AND on the bottom =]

WOW. Those really are THE PERFECT shoes!! The peep toe, the slingback, the height, the brooch, the color…swoon. *sigh* You’re very lucky to have a husband that did that for you. As for the jewelry, I personally, would stick with the pearls. I think the two would make a perfect match.
