That's awesome! Such a big step, I'm glad it went well. Its obvious that the family loves you too, I bet that was the deal maker so now its just a matter of time :o)
Congratulations! So happy for you! It's definitely a nail-biting experience to meet the family (will they like me, will they hate me, will I do something klutzy and stupid, etc.), but when that first visit is over you get such a high!
Yay...congrats! Its awesome when you know the family loves you!
That's wonderful! Congrats!
Having everyone's blessing is a wonderful feeling.
Congratulations on such a successful weekend! I knew his parents were very casual and relaxed, but the stories I'd heard about his sister made me soooo nervous!
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you that everything is good with the families; that's a wonderful situation to have.
Thanks everyone! I was definitely worried on how they would react to me being Indian and Canadian but they were so accepting. Not to mention they fed me lobster, clam chowder and crab rolls all vacation which in my books works great! YUM!
@pvaulter718: I think you've got me confused with someone else. I happen to adore his sister and I don't have any stories about her unless they're ones about how wonderfully loving she is lol!
How fun! Cape Cod is beautiful and the seafood is sooooo yummy. I'm so happy for you that you're "The One" not just for him, but for his family. What great news!
Congrats on that! There's nothing more stressful than family tension (I should know...), but this must make everything that much better!

Hi All!
Being in a LDR means we have to schedule everything since we don't live at home! Because of my culture, I don't meet parents or introduce him to my parents unless it's serious. Well, I took him home this summer and my parents loved him...maybe even more than me lol.
This weekend he took me on their family vacation (4 wonderful days at Cape Cod) and it was nervewracking!! I met his entire family: Grammy, parents, siblings, nephew...you name it. They were so welcoming to this strange woman their son had been travelling across the country for.
We had picked out a ring and everything but did not want to do anything till we had met each other's families. Today his siblings kept asking him when he was going to propose because according to them I was "definitely THE ONE!!" So now that we have everyone's blessing, this engagement could be happening soon.
I'm deliriously happy and couldn't wait to share this with the BEES!!
