Could you show us a picture of what you’re looking for? Someone might know of something similar 🙂

Oh I’ve been meaning to ask this same question myself! I’m after something really simple with little to no bling – like an actual headband – white and a bit thick… it’s been hard to find one that isn’t really blingy or looks like lace.

try to be more specific in you search on etsy? instead of just searching “headbands” search for “lace headband” or “rhinestone headband” or “multistrand headband” that way the results won’t be so vast and overwhelming.

Love etsy! Both around $100.00. Like PP said, be specific….I typed in bridal headbands then sorted from high to low$ – the first few pages are stupid expensive but then you hit the jackpot about 5 pages in.

try lunatiqueart on etsy.  She’s amazing.  That’s who I’m buying my flower hair accessory from (full disclosure – she’s my cousin’s wife – but she is amazing and cheap!!!!!!)

I don’t know exactly what you’re looking for in terms of style, but I’d love to design something for you if you’re interested! Check out my Etsy shop, it’s Redheaded Actress! PM me if you have questions.

Otherwise, there are lots and lots of sellers who do stuff like this, search “Wedding rhinestone headband” or something like that and then narrow it down by clicking a subcategory on the lefthand side and it should be a bit more manageable!

Good luck!

How funny!  I actually fell in love with a Maria Elena headband yesterday at Saks in Beverly Hills… except didn’t fall in love with the $1,300 price tag and they are very similar to those at Ban.do – I put an etsy alcehmy request out ffor something very specific and almsot exactly like what is on ban.do for $100.

I found an etsy seller who is currently making a replica of this ban.do headband and I am going to wait to see what it turns out like when it is finished, although she sent me pictures of her work in progress and it looks amazing.

If you are interested, PM me and I will give you more details and tell you this etsy person’s name.

This is what she is making for someone right now, although with a silver/ charcoal band.  I’m going to ask her to make something similar to this, but with some other characteristics from some of the other ban.do items.  I also have very fine hair, so I’ve had major problems with headbands falling out and when I have worn them in the past, they hurt the sides of my head, so she has come up with good ideas to make the headband stay in, but have a soft/ pliable base underneath the ribbon part of the headband.

Try my sister’s shop: UntamedPetals.etsy.com

She has a lot of similar styles and can make anything custom for you. I know if you’re looking for one of those specifically you should send her an email because I think she can pretty much do all of them .

Hope this helps and good luck to you!

Definitely consider doing an Etsy Alchemy request.  That way you can specify exactly what you are looking for and what you are willing to spend.  It’s really a great tool.
