I have a tea length dress as well and have been looking for headband options. I think I am going to dyi-mine as well. I am going to have a bit of it shortened, so I am going to take the fabric from my dress and sew or glue it across a cheap headband and then add a bling clip. It will probably look a lot like the first one.

Love these pieces, I too have been *dreaming* about this designer’s pieces ever since I stumbled upon them on etsy a few months ago, I agree, she is so pricey, yet they are such inspiration pieces for me. I too am trying a DIY with a few months to go, i can always buy. I found a great seller on ebay with some similar appliques, vintage quality as this designer’s, I can forward if you would like the link!
