does anyone have recipies for healthy desserts or snacks?
my go-to is frozen yougurt bites. I use 1 yoplait yougurt, put it into a plastic baggie, cut the very edge off of the bag, and make nickel to quarter sized dots on a sheet pan (covered in tin foil for easy cleanup!) and freeze for 2 hrs. Fiance and I love them.

where do you store the remainder if you don’t finish them all off?

I cut up 1 cup of pineapple chunks and sprinkle 2 tbsp of shredded coconut on top. Sooooo good.

That sounds good! I like grapes (sometimes frozen), apples and PB, bagel/pita chips and hummus, carrots, light popcorn.

I’m a sucker for homemade Popsicles. I blend pom juice or those fancy fruit juices with berries, flax, yogurt and random fruit. Put the mix into popsicle makers, freeze, and it’s amazing! I also love tostitios and salsa.

I really like strawberries dipped in dark chocolate, and trail mixes.
And more than anything I LOVE green apple slices covered in peanut butter! Eating that with half of a grapefruit is my favorite snack EVER. I also don’t put anything on the grapefruit. No salt or sugar, so there’s no added unhealthyness 🙂
These yogurt things look good. Makes me wish I liked yogurt

@aaronsbride2b: I keep them in the freezer in a tupperware container, but usually I eat them all 🙂

I’m munching on some carrots and celery right now. I have it every day for a lunch snack.

I eat greek yogurt (Fage 0%) with a little bit of honey or agave a lot. It’s my favorite sweet craving snack, but also loaded with protein.

@brandybelle: Not to be a downer, but you might want to switch to Greek yogurt like Chobani. Yoplait has a LOT of sugar in it. :
– Lara bars
– apple slices dipped in Greek yogurt (usually pineapple flavor)
– just Greek yogurt (the Chobani ones are a pretty hefty 6 oz)
– lowfat string cheese

– low fat string cheese
– sugar free jell-o
– cucumbers with fat free ranch dip

My latest fave snack is celery sticks with Trader Joe’s three-layer hummus. So yummy! I’m not even a big celery fan, but it’s so good with this hummus. I also really like pretzel thins instead of chips.
