Girl, I have two dogs with my FI and they are our life. I am so sorry for you and your FI. I am sure that is the toughest thing that you have had to do :( Soooo sorry!!!
I'm so sorry. Losing a pet sucks!
Try to think that you did give the kitty love, and that some animals never get to experience that. You gave him a family, when many animals never get that opportunity.
I truly feel for you. I hope when you are ready, you'll get another pet and give it the same kind of love you gave to this one.
So incredibly sorry for your loss. My FI and I are animal lovers, have a cat a kitten and a dog.... and couldn't imagine life without the little buggers!
Like menobride said, feel proud that you gave the little guy all the love he could ever ask for and made his short life comfortable and safe! His life may have been short, but at least it was blessed!
I'm so sorry for you! I remember what it felt like when we had to put down our first dog and it was heartbreaking. They really are family members and it's so hard to lose them. Like you said, you did the right thing. I wish I had magic words to say though. Hugs!

Oh i'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to believe how quickly they become a part of the family. Well at least you and FI have each other.

We had to put our sweet kitten to sleep on Friday. He had feline leukemia, and got so sick, he could barely walk or lift his little head.
It's so hard, even when you know that it's best for them, and you are keeping him from further suffering. But FI and I still feel like we lost our best friend :(. He will be missed.
