So we just finished embossing our return address on the invitation envelopes. It’s metallic paper so the ink would smear if we didn’t use heat. I bought a personalized calligraphy stamp from Etsy, Fiance already had a heat gun that he used for his electrical projects and I picked up some clear embossing powder from Michael’s with a coupon of course. They look great! It’s awesome to see the change. He stamped, I sprinkled the powder and heated it up on aluminum foil so the heat gun wouldn’t melt my Ikea tarp. FI’s stamping skills are awesome. He’s got a good steady hand, whereas I’m too impatient. He was pretty stoked when he saw how it worked when we practiced on the mess-up envelopes. RSVP cards are up next! He’s got the technique down, I wanted the envelopes completed first since it’s the RSVP cards that need to come back to me. The things I learn on the Bee!!
