Are you talking about sealing only the ends or the entire length of the "streamer" part (so the two pieces looped would become one)?
I guess I was thinking sealing the ends only but am very open to suggestions!
To behonest, unless they can fit their head in the loops should be fine. When I was a baby my parents had to buy stuffed animals based on the tag alone. If it wasn't a loop tag that I could stick my finger in and play with I wanted nothing to do with it. At one point my mother even made a blanket with loops on the end. It was the best thing ever and I am still alive and in one solid piece. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Hi everyone :)
My husband and I purchased a blanket similar to this one, however, ours has the ribbons looped and I don't want our future (due in April!) baby to get it's little fingers/toes caught so I'd like to the the ribbon so they are no longer looped and heat seal each piece to prevent fraying
...does anyone have any idea how to go about this? I'm *semi* crafty but need some advice!
