Finger size has far more to do with weight than height, FYI. That’s why you lose ring sizes when you lose weight and gain ring sizes when you gain weight.

I’m 5’5″, 175 lbs, and ring size 7 (down from 190 lbs and a ring size 8, no change in height)

I don’t think it really has anything to do with height, as a pp said, definitely more to do with weight.

I used to be a size 6 but now i’m a size 7.5-8 – no change in height just the addition of having a baby and gaining weight lol

I am 5’9″ for reference, though.

I’m a hair under 5’8″ and at my skinniest (dress size 2) my ring size was 6.5. Now I’m a dress size 8 and my ring size is… 6.5. LOL

Don’t feel bad about not having thin fingers, OP. I haven’t seen your fingers, but I’m only one inch taller than you, and I’m a 6.75 ring size (like you, I prefer to round up to a 7 to allow for swelling in the heat/overnight/etc.). My fingers have never been described as fat or sausage-y. I have a thin/athletic build, not a single joint in the my hand has a dimple (meaning you can see my knuckles), and I only started growing self conscious of my stupid fingers when I came here and saw all these much smaller ring sizes!

I think everyone is going to be pretty unique, ring size is affected by a few different factors (weight, skeletal build, also muscle mass). I’m 5’4.5, size 4.25 finger, shoe size 7.5, dress size 0. I was thinner before having my son, but I had a production job mostly working with my hands, and my finger was closer to 5 I’d say.

I’m just over 5’3″, ring size 5.5, shoe size 6. I’m a pant/dress size 0 and have a small build. I sometimes feel that my ring size should be smaller, but what can you do? I’m also left-handed, which may have an impact as well.

I am 5′-3″ with a ring size of 4.75.  I wear a size 2 sometimes 4 (I have a booty).  I think it has more to do with weight and build than height.  My sister who is the exact same height as me wears a 6.5, but she has a little curvier of a build than I do.

I’m 5 ft 1 with a size 7.5 finger hahaha. No correlation here. I was also a size 7 ring finger in high school when I was 110 pounds. 155 now down from 190 two and a half years ago, yay!

sunnierdaysahead2 :  I’m 5’7″ with a ring size of 4.5 or so. My shoe size is 7/7.5. I’ve got thin wrists and arms and bone structure on my upper body. (My hips on the other hand…lol)
