I meant to add that one of the reasons I'm skeptical about this one is because the band almost seems darker or not as bright as some of the other band pictures on Blue Nile..
Hi! Congrats on the upcoming engagement! I ended up getting a similar ring as yours from James Allen, which I am absolutely crazy about. I was going back and forth between James Allen and Blue Nile and I concluded that James Allen was a better fit for me. James Allen sells 18K white gold exclusively whereas Blue Nile sells mostly 14K, and I wanted an 18K ring because it looks shinier and just like platinum.
Here's a pic of the actual ring we designed from James Allen. I ended up going for white gold, which cost $975.
I am super in love with my ring and never want to take it of hahaa. Hope this helped and enjoy the search!!
If nobody has the band I originally posted, does anyone have any suggestions as to why it might look darker compared to the one below? Or do you have any similar bands? I am wondering if it is just the picture or if the original band looks that much darker in person.
I think because the top one has milgrain and smaller diamonds on the shoulders, so overall you can see more metal than diamond, which is why it maybe looks darker? Obviously the metal is darker than clear diamonds but in real life I think the metal will be white anyway and the diamonds will sparkle more.
And the milgrain is raised so there will be more shadow, compared to the other one where diamonds go right to the edge so more light gets in.
I have a similiar one-- the heirloop petite pave from Blue Nile that also has the diamonds on the side of the band. i LOVE it. FI picked it out all my himself and I think it looks great in person. I definitely don't think mine looks dark at all.

Does anyone have the heirloom petite cathedral pave setting from blue nile?? I can't decide between this and a few others on blue nile! If anyone has any rings from blue nile or any rings that are cathedral pave settings please send pics! Also, will you please include what size your band is? The three at blue nile I have picked out are 1.5, 2.1, and 2.2 and I can't decide which would look best!
