Wow - thanks for your honesty.  Just want to echo everybody else - he loves you and I think wanting children is seriously one of the ways to know.  Why would you want to bring a child into the world together, with both your genes and DNA if he didn't :-) My FI and I def want children but since we live in NYC and we're 'relatively young'  I def didn't want to have kids until I was close to 30.  He agreed with me right away but I think about what if he wanted kids sooner or later, we'd probably have to compromise in what timing is best.  People should aim to be the best parents, and waiting to be sure you really want one is probably one of them, or at the very least not make them spoiled or bratty - yuck!
