A nice dress? Church clothes? Basically, a cocktail dress is out. :) I'd go with a tea length skirt and top, depending on where it is.
ditto tea length skirt, maybe go to target and get something for like a brunch.... i would wear a nice sheath with a cardigan
I'm probably way off fashion-wise... but they don't call it a lbd for nothing.... change the look with a jacket, boots, etc. and more "day friendly" accents...it's fall. Black is always good.
But then, I would live in a lbd if I could so I'm probably way off.
generally i go with this rule: whatever you would wear to easter sunday and brunch. with fall, i may go with slightly darker colors and not look like an easter egg, or wear a dark coat with a lighter dress.
I would say a cute dress with a brighter colored sweater some cute peep toe heels and a clutch.
