OMG $20!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE????? lol had to start out with that. I agree you will love it here!!!
Lol at the wonderful Tahhrghay of course! That's Target lol.
but the pic on the website doesn't do them justice. If you look through the weekly ad though, the girl is wearing it on page 13. Oh, and also on the first ad that pops up on the homepage lol. Although it looks SUPER pink there, and it's really not. It's more fuschia/purpley. I saw them in black, grey, and blue as well.
I got them even though they're not the exact cut I want because they're the exact color! My whole room is done in that color lol. It's a fuschia leaning more towards purple than pink, and I love it! So i figured what the heck, $20! And they're plain enough that they'll be super fun to accessorize. I took a pic of one of them, but it came out poorly. You can see the detail at the top better though.
Welcome! One of my best friends just got out of the Navy! At least when you go to visit him you'll see beaches! :)
Congrats and welcome! His friends are right, security clearences are easier to get single. I had them when I was in and you would see people wait years to get their final clearence before they could start work... even longer if their spouse was from outside the US! BTW if they start his background check while he is in basic then he can scam phone calls. After they start his background he'll have a few meetings so they can get contact info for people to check up on him. He can tell his RDC's that he has to call home to get contact info on people and he can call you more often. I think we only got like four phone calls while I was in basic, but since I had to do the background check I got more phone calls. Good luck!!!

Hello everyone!
So I've been lurking around for awhile, and just wanted to say hi! I can't WAIT to start some of these DIY projects!
A little about me - I'm 24, full-time student, IRS employee, and committed to the most wonderful guy in the whole world. He's 24 as well, and right this moment he's signing his (our) life (lives) away to the esteemed US Navy. We've been friends for the past five years, and I finally had a wake up call and realized I should be with him last December. So even though we've been dating a relativley short time, I know hands down he's the one.
We've talked and talked about our (closely impending lol) future, and we know we're going to get married. Unfortunately, it's really up the navy when we can do it hah. He's going into their naval nuclear program, which (from what I've been told) has strict security clearances, and everyone has told my boyfriend that it'll be easier for him to get his clearance if he's single. Fine by me! So the plan is that once he gets his clearance (which could take anywhere from 4-8 months), we'll get married! I have a sneaky suspicion that the actual proposal with a rock and everything will be happening when he gets back from basic (which who knows when that'll be, they keep telling him different dates of when he'll ship out).
He's given me permission to start planning a wedding lol (silly right, when we're *technically* not engaged?). I don't care though, because I love to shop, and even better, I love to bargain shop. We decided that we want to have a small wedding, but more importantly, a budget wedding. My thing is that I don't want it to look like a budget wedding lol. So, with that in mind, I've started amassing things as I find them on sale and whatnot. (I found my bridesmaids dresses two days ago for $20 each. $20!! I know I'm not supposed to pay for those, but heck, $20! So I did lol.)
Alright, I think I've rambled on enough. It'll be nice to actually talk with everyone! :)
