So after a five month hiatus, I'm back! Hi! And the good news is that I sold my car, got married, went on a Parisian honeymoon, and moved 800 miles away from where I was living to New Haven, Connecticut. THe bad news is that I've done that in the last 3.5 weeks! But I'm back, alive, and very, very well! I've missed you, those that I left behind. Thank you so, so much for being there during the first couple of months of planning! You mean more to me than you can ever imagine. You missed the dress drama, but it was all better in the end!
What's that? You want me to shut up and show you pictures? Wellllll okay! I have just a few (courtesy of my sneak peek!) to share and I hope I'll get some later!
Second look! Okay the quick story about my dress is that the other one was made by someone that was a total fraud, so I had to buy a new one the Monday before the wedding!
My beautiful bridesmaids! Check out their bouquets! The flower girls carried wands (that I made myself!) and my mom made the dresses cause we couldn't find any we liked well enough.
My bouquet, with my grandmothers brooches. Handwired the brooches myself into silk flowers. Florist put the whole thing together.
Letters at the entrance of the winery! 6 feet tall.
Escort bookcase. Everyone had a book with their name on it that they pulled their seating arrangement from. The tables were named after theologians.
One of my 3 different styles of centerpieces.
And finally, our fiber optic exit... Talon doesn't allow sparklers but Mom wanted to do something special. Mr. KM LOVES things that are fiber optic (it got to be a huge joke during the planning)... this was supposed to be a surprise, but it ended up being only a surprise for him!

Okay, I posted some of them! I'll post my absolute FAVORITE one right now, it made me absolutely bawl the first time I saw it.
I am SO glad to be back! I still read the blog while I was gone, no worries, but life was so crazy that I couldn't be on the boards. Not being chosen to blog was a blessing in disguise, honestly. The time just wasn't there for me to give to it. But I'll be around the boards, as Mr. KM starts Yale school tomorrow and I'll be a school widow!
