the mehndi party can just be more for your friends to get their mendi done, u can already have yours done
@mixed: This idea seems the best. Make it more of a shower for you and your friends to have fun, and have your mendhi done earlier or do it at the end of the night? (this is what I witnessed at some of the parties I've attended)

Hi Guys,
I am getting married in November in LA, and was wondering if you knew good places that were somewhat affordable to hold a nice mehndi...My family is not exceptionally Indo/Pak so I dont know what exactly to do at the mehndi... AND, if I go get it done on my hands before an official menhdi, so I can actually party a little on the mehndi, will i offend people...
Let me know what your opinions are...
