A build a bear in a wedding tux or a car water globe at things remembered engraved to say thank you. the car looks like a little sports car and in hte water globe you could have a pic of you and the rb put in after the wedding
I had trouble with this as well. We have three of them who are 4, 8 and 12 (the older two are going to also do a reading and are more like junior GM) and I ended up just getting them each a game for their DS.
I couldn't think of anything sentimental that they would like or understand and thought a DS game was better since they are little boys and always want new games. I'm going to make a little care package up with some other odd and ends like bubbles and little puzzles to keep them occupied if the weather is bad. Since we are having a DW I'll be giving it to them several days before the wedding. I'm sorry I'm not more help...
Since we are having a book themed wedding AND all the guys (including the little guy) are wearing kilts, we bought our Ring Bearer: a toy sword (to bring out the little Breaveheart in him), and a "Lord of the Rings" notebook with crayons :)
I think anything that will keep the little one occupied will be fun. And if you can tie it somehow with the theme of your day, even better!
This is what we got our two ringbearers:
My RB is a little older than yours (9) and I got him and his sister (FG, 6) each a harmonica with their name engraved on it.
I did not get gifts for our flower girls or ringbearer...I am a total fail.
That backpack is so cute though!
I am not getting them gifts either. Oops. We bought our Flowergirl's dress and plane ticket... does that count :) and the RB is my son.
However, if you have time a sports jersey from his favorite team w/ his name on the back would be fun!
Ours are a little older (5 soon to be 6). We got them binoculars just like the groomsmen. We decided their parents could either let them play with them now or put them up to keep until they are older. I'm going to look for another small toy for them that they can play with now. Our ring bearers like to be outdoors and fish and go to football games. I think they will enjoy the binoculars.

My RB is 4 years old and I have no idea what to get him. I don't want to get him just a random toy, rather I'd like something somewhat sentimental.
Any ideas?
